The project for the restoration of the hermitage of Santa Ana de Porcuna (Jaén) has received the first prize in the national/international category of the V edition of the COAS Architecture and Society awards.

According to the jury’s minutes:

For the recovery of a ruined patrimonial architecture that transcends the conservative fact to create an interpretation of the original space through the overhead light and the sensitive combination of traditional and current materials, resulting in a space for contemplation and reverie.
