On July 11, the inauguration of the Roman cistern of ‘La Calderona’ took place. The event was chaired by the current Minister of Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabel Rodríguez García; the president of the Excma. Provincial Council of Jaén, Francisco Reyes Martínez; the mayor of the Illustrious municipality of Porcuna, Miguel Moreno Lorente; and the architect and director of the work Pablo Millán Millán.

The project includes the construction of a new reception and access building to the complex, as well as the restoration of the old Roman cistern and the archaeological remains of the old homes and streets of Obulco.
